Creating Memories
February 5, 2010 by admin

Just like any other profession shooting as a professional photographer is a skill, acquired through years of experience. Even though a quality camera now costs under $2,000 taking professional portraits involves much more than just a camera, a lens and a magazine about photography.

A Professional Photographer is an artist and sometimes it can take years to go from buying their first camera to making money with their photography. In addition to learning how to use the camera itself, they also need to know lighting, digital photo processing as well as other software programs used to edit and print photographs.

It is also important that you have have people skills, be able to communicate, make people comfortable in front of your camera – and posing people to make them look good in a photograph is a skill all by itself.

Consider this – the next time you pay $25 to get your hair cut, you could just go get a pair of scissors at the dollar store. My point is that you would never take this short cut when it comes to your appearance and how others see you.  They still see you in your photographs, so why not hire a professional the next time you want to have a photograph done.  Think twice before letting Uncle Fred loose with his camera because I am sure you would not let him color your hair.

I would the the opportunity to photograph your family, your senior, your kids or even your pets.  I put my heart and soul in everything I do, so you can trust me to help you create memories for a lifetime of your family.
